About

Roy & Leah Neuberger

Roy Neuberger grew up in an affluent home in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where he was raised in an atmosphere devoid of Jewish observance. In pain from the spiritual emptiness, he began a search for truth. Linda Villency grew up on Long Island in a similar atmosphere. Her parents, although they acknowledged their Jewishness, did not observe mitzvos.

They met in high school and continued their search together. After eleven years of marriage, Roy and Linda (now Leah) encountered Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis, the child of the Holocaust who became an eloquent spokeswomen for the great tradition of classic Torah Jewish life. After attending the Rebbetzin’s Torah classes and visiting Israel with her, they adopted the Jewish lifestyle and moved to the community on Long Island where Rebbetzin Jungreis’ husband served as rabbi. They now reside in Jerusalem.

Roy is the author of six books and has been writing weekly articles and videos for many years. Linda is his first editor. Since the publication of his first book, Roy and Linda have spoken to Jewish audiences in hundreds of locations in fifteen countries. Roy’s weekly articles and videos are distributed through email and WhatsApp and appear on Jewish websites, including Voz Iz Neias (VIN news).
